DIG Dermal is an independent specialist wound and lymphoedema service led by an experienced senior nurse with a strong background in tissue viability, lymphoedema, and community practice. The service was created to provide high-quality specialist support for patients and a trusted referral option for consultants, private GPs, and wider clinical teams.
With 20 years’ nursing experience, including 11 years as a tissue viability and lymphoedema specialist, DIG Dermal brings substantial expertise in complex wound care, oedema management, clinic and domiciliary work, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Current and previous roles include Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist posts in private and NHS services, District Nurse Team Manager and Clinical Lead.
Professional qualifications include a PG Cert in Tissue Viability, BSc in Lymphoedema, PGDip in Primary Care (District Nursing), first-class honours BSc in Nursing, district nursing specialist practitioner registration, and community formulary prescribing qualification. Additional training includes sharp debridement and advanced wound management.
